Properties: White or off-white powder, specific gravity 1.29, soluble in benzene, acetone, chloroform, carbon disulfide, insoluble in water or gasoline.
Performance: A type of accelerator with low critical vulcanization temperature and fast vulcanization rate. In sulfur-free or low-sulfur systems, the vulcanized rubber exhibits excellent thermal aging resistance and low compression set.
Application: Used as a vulcanization accelerator in the rubber industry, applicable to natural rubber and synthetic rubber. It is mainly employed in the production of rubber industrial products such as tires, inner tubes, rubber footwear, and cables. In agriculture, it serves as a fungicide and insecticide, and can also function as a lubricant additive.
