Anti-tear modulus agent KS-60 is a new product developed by Hewitt.
It is a compounding system of phenol donor and aldehyde acceptor. When KS-60 is added during the mixing process, the phenolic polymer has been pre-dispersed in the polymer carrier containing the dispersant, which can not only improve the dispersibility of phenolic polymer and olefins in the rubber, reduce the specific gravity of the rubber, but also improve the hardness and modulus of the rubber. At the same time, it can also reduce the irritating smoke in the mixing operation. So the use of KS-60 can reduce the cost.
KS-60 can be used to manufacture rubber products such as tires, conveyor belts, dams, and hoses.
